Describe the attributes of the three primary temperaments, on which nearly all personality typologies agree
What will be an ideal response?
Answer: Nearly all personality typologies converge on three primary temperaments: Extraversion, Neuroticism, and Impulsivity. Extraversion consists primarily of tendencies towards positive emotion, reward sensitivity, an interest in social rewards, and tendencies towards sociability and interest in others. Neuroticism is characterized by negative emotions, anxiety, sensitivity to punishment and a tendency to social withdrawal and isolation. Impulsivity is almost synonymous with Psychoticism and is characterized by lack of restraint, sensation and novelty seeking, and a lack of conscientiousness and agreeableness.
