Regardless of whether you complete your job application online or on paper, you should: Read job titles and job summaries carefully to make sure your qualifications match the jobs for which you are applying. (For example, medical assistants should not apply for physician assistant jobs; practical nurses should not apply for nurse practitioner jobs, etc.) Read the instructions and follow them. Use your best written communication skills and make sure all words are spelled correctly. List accurate dates for your education and work experience.
