Name five things you should do when filling out a job application form

What will be an ideal response?

Answer: Most applications are online. Pay attention to the knowledge, skills, abilities, and qualifications that are listed in the job posting and identify some of the key words. Use these key words in your application because computerized systems search for key words to find applicants who might be a good match. If you have the opportunity, fill out a sample job application to make sure you have all of the information required. Regardless of whether you complete your job application online or on paper, you should: Read job titles and job summaries carefully to make sure your qualifications match the jobs for which you are applying. (For example, medical assistants should not apply for physician assistant jobs; practical nurses should not apply for nurse practitioner jobs, etc.) Read the instructions and follow them. Use your best written communication skills and make sure all words are spelled correctly. List accurate dates for your education and work experience. List the job number if the employer uses a numbering system for job postings. Review the form to make sure you have not left anything out before you finalize and submit it.
