Discuss the renaissance humanism in terms of Bramante’s design for the Tempietto.

What will be an ideal response?

The Tempietto was styled after a Classical temple that was excavated in Rome. Bramante incorporated original Classical Roman columns into its architectural scheme, which led to its name “Tempietto” or “Little Temple.” For the design Bramante also integrated mathematical orderliness. For these reasons, the Tempietto is the very embodiment of Italian humanist architecture in the High Renaissance.
