Explain the use of oral citations

What will be an ideal response?

An oral citation is what a speaker should do when he or she uses information taken
from a source, unless that information is a widely known fact. A statistic, direct quote,
or paraphrase from a source should be cited by giving the author, date of publication,
and title.
