What is conscience and what role does it play in making decisions?

What will be an ideal response?

Answer: Conscience is moral judgment that prohibits or opposes the violation of a previously recognized ethical principle. It is the little voice that gnaws away at you, keeps you from sleeping at night, and constantly says, "You know this is not the right thing to do!" Your conscience reminds you of the difference between right and wrong and helps you make ethical decisions.
