Imagine you wanted to make a television commercial. Using the information you know about persuasion, list the three message factors that would be important to your commercial

What will be an ideal response?

* Attention - The commercial should get the listener to pay attention through visual or auditory effects and the message itself must be powerful enough to command attention.
* Drawing conclusions - If the audience receives the message without being actively involved in processing it, explicitly drawn conclusions are more effective. When individuals are actively involved in processing persuasive messages, greater persuasion is achieved by allowing them to draw their own conclusions
* Message acceptance - For a message to be persuasive, it should not differ drastically from the attitudes of the audience. Reactance is another means by which message acceptance is manipulated.
