Describe how an inkjet printer works.
What will be an ideal response?
An inkjet printer uses a type of ink-dispersion printing and doesn't normally provide the high-quality resolution of laser printers. An inkjet printer contains firmware that processes the image. The more expensive inkjet printers can process PostScript or PCL, and the less expensive ones can process GDI and XPS print jobs. An inkjet printer uses a print head that moves across the paper, creating one line of the image with each pass. The printer puts ink on the paper using a matrix of small dots.
