What are the advantages of customizing the startup options of a database?
What will be an ideal response?
Customizing the startup options in a database restricts users from being able to create new objects in the database by limiting the tabs that are visible on the Ribbon. Hiding the Database Tools helps to limit access to any VBA or macros in the database. The Navigation pane can be hidden to prevent tables and other objects from being opened or modified. Special keys can also be restricted to prevent access to the Navigation pane and the Visual Basic Editor. Access to the Layout View and the ability to make design changes to tables in Datasheet view can also be disabled. The appearance of the database can be enhanced by adding an application title and icon to the database.
