If you select Use Previews, Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Media Encoder will
use any existing previews that have been created to accelerate compression
time—at the cost of quality. By deselecting this option, Adobe Premiere Pro and
Adobe Media Encoder will create compressed files at a higher quality because
the original source media will be referenced.
