Self-efficacy refers to the confidence in your ability to organize and execute a given course of action to solve a problem or accomplish a task.
You judge your self-efficacy by combining four sources of information:
1 . You use previous experiences of success or failure on similar tasks to estimate how you will do on a new, related task.
2 . You compare your capabilities with those of others.
3 . You listen to what others say about your capabilities.
4 . You use feedback from your body to assess your strength, vulnerability, and capability.
