How has the education and income gap between husbands and wives changed?
What will be an ideal response?
A growing number of women earn more money than their husbands, with 24 percent of women now making more than their husbands. This is a major shift from the 1960s, when only 6 percent of wives earned more than their husbands. Additionally, there are now more wives than husbands with spouses who have less education. In other words, men are increasingly likely to marry wives with more education and income than they have, and the reverse is true for women.
