Again, this will vary by student. The main goal is for students to be able to give an employer a good reason to hire them. Students must think of this aspect of their cover letter as an advertisement of his or her qualifications and strengths. While it should not be too detailed, it should make the reader want to find out more about the student as a job applicant.
