What do audiences need to know?
What will be an ideal response?
Good writers will look for the opportunity to present the value of material in a way that clearly answers that question. Show the readers personal impact. Tell a story that will pique reader interest. The most important information in the world doesn’t matter if the people who need it aren’t paying attention. Offer readers ways to act. When you have the opportunity to tell people what you want them to do with the information you provided, you should do so. This concept extends beyond opinion pieces or promotional material and can be useful across all forms of writing.
