What will be an ideal response?
The stage model mentioned in the book was Knapp and Vangelisti's ten-stage
model with five stages of coming together and five stages of coming apart. The
dialectical tension process model presented three dialectical tensions. The stage model
describes linear movement and the process model views change and redefinition as a
natural part of the relational life cycle, no matter the stage of a relationship.
