Small, non-metal bowl for sea salt
1/4-1/2 cup of salt; use 50% fine salt and 50% medium-grain salt (sea salt, epsom salt, Dead Sea salt, desert mineral salt)
Essential oil(s) of choice; if using an essential oil, several drops of a carrier oil will also be needed
Warm water or oil (to mix with the salt)
3 cloth sheets, sized for a double bed or larger; can also use 2 sheets and 2 large towels, approximately 30" x 60"
If there is no access to a shower, a basin of warm water and 3-4 towels, approximately 18" x 30", for salt removal are needed. A towel cabi or crock pot filled with moist towels can also be used. More than 3-4 towels may be necessary for clients who have a large body size and for clients with a lot of body hair (since it may be more difficult to remove the salt from the hair).
