If an infant suffers a head trauma that damages the brain, what can we say about recovery?

What will be an ideal response?

We can say that due to their high level of brain plasticity, their chances of recovery are improved. Plasticity is highest in infancy and the brain may be able to create sufficient new neurons, heal damaged ones and/or a different area can take over the functions of the damaged area.
