Use May's three modes of existence and his concept of alienation to explain Camille's lack of relationships.

What will be an ideal response?

Umwelt is the physical aspect of existence. Mitwelt is the sphere of personal relationships. Eigenwelt is a person's consciousness. Alienation is feeling separate from any of the above three modes of existence, i.e., physical nature, other people, or from yourself. Camille demonstrates separation from others (and therefore alienation) through her social phobia and lack of relationships. She demonstrates separation from eigenwelt (and therefore alienation) through her denial of feelings of resentment toward her parents' critical, authoritarian style and their poor treatment of Camille.
