I would give a presentation persuading my audience to adopt shelter dogs. I would
use the artistic proof pathos to use emotional appeals to impact my audience.
Specifically, I would show my audience sad pictures and videos of dogs, which would
persuade them to adopt those dogs. (Students may choose any topic as long as they
understand that pathos is the use of emotional appeals to persuade the audience and
are able to apply that proof to a realistic topic.)
