Compare and contrast people whose values tend to focus on personal "survival" and people whose values tend to focus on personal "well-being"

What will be an ideal response?

People who indicate a concern for survival tend to respond to certain survey questions in a way that places a high value on the nuclear family, childrearing, and hard work. Also, they worry a great deal about having enough money and tend to express a desire for greater government involvement in the economy. In contrast, people who express concern for personal well-being place relatively higher value on quality-of-life issues such as individual freedom, leisure time, and "being happy." Such individuals value work as a source of personal satisfaction, not because it provides them with subsistence, and value freedom of expression and the ability to participate in politics.
