What is the Use Global Light option, how can it be applied, and how is it used?
What will be an ideal response?
Student answers will vary, but should include the following:
The Use Global Light option exists as a simple solution to help you maintain a consistent light source for multiple layer styles. With the Use Global Light option checked, all of your layer styles will create their individual effects using "light" from the same direction.
This is helpful in creating consistency in your document, as the light source "hits" all of the layers from the same direction and at the same angle.
The Use Global Light option can easily be applied by clicking the Use Global Light box in the Layers Style dialog box.
