Describe the life-course approach to dying
What will be an ideal response?
As a result of a growing realization of their own mortality, middle-aged adults' sense of time undergoes a change from an emphasis on how long they have lived to how long they have left to live. Older adults are less anxious about death and more accepting of it compared with any other age group. The greater overall acceptance of death results from the achievement of ego integrity.
