Describe how users are able to discover a virtual machine that is available to them.
What will be an ideal response?
The first step to using a virtual machine is discovering that it exists. To allow users to discover virtual machines, you assign a personal desktop using the RD connection broker. Assignments for personal virtual machines are recorded in Active Directory as part of the user account. Also, you can create a virtual machine pool to be shared by multiple users. When a user navigates to the RemoteApp and Desktop Connections shortcut on the Start menu, she sees a folder with an icon representing the virtual machine. Clicking the icon for the virtual machine starts a transfer of user credentials to the RD connection broker. The RD connection broker contacts Active Directory, which returns the user resources. The personal virtual machine name is returned to the user.
