Explain the differences between the three different types of leadership styles discussed in the textbook

Which leadership style do you think you exhibit during group interactions? Explain your answer.

What will be an ideal response?

Autocratic leaders keep control of the situation, set policy, make group decisions, define tasks, and assign tasks to group members. Democratic leaders share control, involve members in setting policy
and making decisions, allow members to divide work, and may guide task assignments to ensure that
work is done. Laissez-faire leaders give up control, give total freedom to group members to make
policies and decisions, get involved only when called upon, and avoid participation.
