The range that is included in the calculation is automatically determined by the scope of the table. Several statistics are available via the arrow in each cell in the total row – to allow each cell to contain a statistic unique to its column data. Table data can be filtered so the table "totals" can be used in what-if analysis without having to modify the specified ranges in the functions.
