How does Mac OS X deal with IPv6 temporary addresses?

What will be an ideal response?

A Mac OS X IPv6 temporary address has a default lifetime of 1 hour. After 1 hour, the client will initiate an internal process to regenerate a new temporary address and perform the DAD test, and, if all is good, it will now have a new temporary address.
