Why do computers use cache memory?

What will be an ideal response?

Because the speed of computers has increased faster than that of main store memory over the last few years, computers are getting faster and are now having to wait for the main memory in DRAM to provide data. By using fast cache memory, the effective speed of memory can be increased.
