Becoming a good Web designer involves more than learning the tools of a program like Expression Web.  You develop an eye for details and learn to think more closely about design itself, which you can use when you create your own sites.  Explain what you will look for as you visit other Web sites and the types of questions you will ask yourself as you evaluate different sites.

What will be an ideal response?

•Evaluate what you like or don't like about them.
•Notice the color scheme, font and typography, images, content, layout, and navigation.
•Does the visual design appeal to you?
•Is the type easy to read?
•How easily can you find what you're looking for?
•What exactly is it about the design, content, or site structure that is successful or not successful?
•If it's a site you visit often, what aspects of the site draw you back for another visit?
