Are there places in your game where players should connect with friends via Facebook or Twitter? Compile a list to see where ideal contact points might be and compose a few promotional tweets.

What will be an ideal response?

This exercise will help students to incorporate even more social elements into their games. Students should determine opportunities in their games in which players could benefit from connecting with friends on social networks such as Facebook or Twitter. Instructors may want to have students “test” each other’s games to help determine this. Each student should also compose a few promotional tweets that could be automatically generated by players who opt to connect with friends (e.g., “I’m playing Purple Pickle Cemetery – a ghoulish strategy game. Please join my gravedigger brigade!”).
