Explain the difference between restricted code and elaborated code.

Restricted code does not necessarily explain all the details because it is assumed that the people privy to the conversation have a shared connection and have a shared knowledge base. Elaborated code explains information at greater length because it is believed that people will not be able to understand the conversation without additional details.
