What should a speaker keep in mind when impromptu speaking?
What will be an ideal response
Impromptu speaking occurs when the speaker does not have advance preparation and must speak "off the cuff." Suggestions include to consider your audience's interests, expectations, and knowledge; be brief (one to three minutes); organize-use an introduction, body, and conclusion; draw upon your own personal knowledge and experience; use gestures and movement appropriately; and be aware of the potential impact of your communication.
