Both have the advantages of segmentation, specifically that they manage logical entities
for which it is more meaningful to implement sharing and access control. The combined
segmentation/paging system offers the advantages of trivializing memory placement decisions,
but it requires a more complex table structure and a more expensive dynamic address
translation mechanism.
