Describe the process of contracting with suppliers

What will be an ideal response?

This process consists of discussing with the supplier the type and number of supplies the medical office must order. The supplier then proposes a price for those supplies. The medical office manager may want to meet with more than one supplier to determine who can provide the best price. The manager may be able to negotiatethe price of supplies, especially for a clinic that orders a large number of supplies. If the manager learns that the price of a certain supply is not negotiable, other services may be negotiable, such as the cost of shipping or the delivery time for the supplies to arrive.
