Compare and contrast absolute loaders with relocating loaders.

What will be an ideal response?

An absolute loader simply places programs and data directly into the memory addresses specified by the linker or programmer. A relocating loader converts relative addresses from the load module to absolute addresses determined by the offset of an address within a memory block. Absolute loaders are simpler to build and execute faster than relocating loaders. Because relocating loaders are more flexible (in where they can place programs and data), they minimize waste of storage.
