Discuss the role of Muhammad in the Islamic faith.

What will be an ideal response?

Muhammad founded the religion in the early seventh century in Arabia and received his first revelations through the angel Gabriel. These continued for another 20 years and formed the Qur’an, the holy book of Islam. Muhammad is not regarded as divine, but is considered the last and most important prophet in a line that includes Abraham, Noah, Moses, and Jesus.
