Discuss how to hide and show edges and guides.

What will be an ideal response?

By default, when an object is selected, its paths and anchor points become visible. These components are called edges. Sometimes you will want to select and work with objects without their edges showing. You can hide edges using the View menu. Click View on the Menu bar, then click Hide Edges. Even better, memorize the easy-to-remember keyboard shortcut [Ctrl][H] (Win) or [H] (Mac) to hide edges. Show edges again by clicking View on the Menu bar, then clicking Show Edges. With this in mind, memorize the quick key for hiding and showing guides, which is [Ctrl][;] (Win) or [;] (Mac). With these two sets of quick keys in your skills set, you can quickly and effectively hide and show what you want to see and what you don? 't want to see on the artboard at any given time.
