Annotations are written or drawn on a slide while in Slide Show view. They are used for additional commentary or explanation while a slide show is displayed. To add an annotation to a slide while playing a slide show, right-click the slide, select pointer Options, and then select Pen or Highlighter. Use the mouse to then draw or write on the slide.
