In the context of Microsoft Access 2016, what is a form??
What will be an ideal response?
Answers will vary. You use a form to enter, edit, and view records in a database. Although you can perform these same functions with tables and queries, forms can present data in customized and helpful ways. In a simple form, the fields from the table or query on which the form is based are displayed one record at a time, allowing you to focus on the values for one record. Each field name appears on a separate line with its field value for the current record displayed in a box to the right. You use the navigation buttons at the bottom of the form to move between records.??To quickly create a form containing all of the fields in a table or query, you use the Form tool. The table or other database object on which you are basing the form must be selected in the Navigation Pane when you select the Form tool.?When you first create a form, it opens in Layout view. You use Layout view to make design changes to the form. Please see the section "Creating Simple Queries, Forms, and Reports" for more information.
